Joining the snow bunnies and the tourists in Queenstown

We have officially opened our new office in Queenstown which is arguably one of the country's most picturesque cities!

Deloitte Partner, Phil Stevenson, commented that “this office opening is the culmination of a considerable amount of hard work by partners and managers. Thanks to our great team the Queenstown office has been launched and we are already well connected to the market."

He added that Queenstown is an area with a relatively large number of high net worth clients and returning expats, hence a presence was needed in the market.

“The Dunedin office already has clients there and we were servicing them on an as needed basis. The demand for our services was increasing so it made sense to open an office in the area and have a permanent presence there."

“We have a small temporary office while we get settled in which is serviced by our people in Dunedin. Someone is on site every week and the plan is to have permanent staff in the Queenstown office very soon.”

The office was officially opened with two flagship events last Wednesday and Thursday.

Dunedin partners along with Joanne McCrae and Bruce Wallace hosted the first event at The Hills golf course and a wider office opening was held on Thursday night attended by around 100 people.
