Grant has been committed to the mid-market throughout Canterbury and the upper South for 20 years and works with businesses to help them put in place the right financial structures for future success. There are strong similarities between the planning and development required to manage a professional sporting team to those required to drive any good business. It’s a simple mix really; you obviously need desire to achieve, a relentless pursuit, pure passion and the ability for all team members to be heard and understood.
Communication should always be at the forefront and the common goal is the achievement of the team (or the business ) not the individuals within it.
Grant has embraced the role of Crusaders Chairman and intends contributing to the organisation in a really meaningful way. But there’s no better way to confirm the thrill and the challenges offered from a role like this than sharing a quote from the man himself...(excerpt taken from a recent Crusaders media release)
This is a Board, a team and an organisation full of quality, committed people, so it is an honour to assume the role of Chairman for the Crusaders. There are plenty of new opportunities for the Crusaders this season and in the future. The thrill our supporters, sponsors and community get from being connected with and watching the Crusaders is as strong now as it has been over the past 20 years. I am keen to ensure we keep striving for improvement and success and play our part in building stronger community spirit across the whole Crusader region and the worldwide fan base”.
Well done Grant – from all of us at Deloitte Private, we are super proud of you!
